The Nova Scotia College of Chiropractors upholds the standards set out in the Chiropractic Act 2000 and its regulations for chiropractic health services. It also provides information to both the public and chiropractic doctors. The College regulates all chiropractors in Nova Scotia, in the same manner that physicians and other regulated health professionals are regulated. It administers provincial exams, issues licenses, and investigates complaints made against chiropractors and, when necessary, disciplining chiropractors found guilty of professional misconduct.
